We also have great articles, images, and events that appear right on the globe.

This is how a Historical Atlas is supposed to work on an iPad.

Pros and cons of World History Atlas HD with 3D app for iPhone and iPad

World History Atlas HD with 3D app good for

In fact I welcome the approach to introduce an historical Atlas to iOS - there are already some nice Apps on alternative OS and I miss them here. But: beside a given nice design it is not trully sufficient to outsource all knowledge to wiki links...
Well done implementation fusing time and geo information together. An approach which should be further developed to bring more detail data into the content and use it in schools.
Great interface. Beautiful graphics. Simple to use. Complete and Informative Resource. A portion of the price goes to support Wikipedia. Thanks to the developer for their wonderful work.
Good educational tool. I would like to recommend all people interested in world history. This app provide good entry point. Easy to access to every countries at any ages with plenty information from wiki.

Some bad moments

Great interface great potential. Poor marks for accuracy. New France was part of British North America after 1763. This app has it existing until 1800. There are many more examples. Current names and boundaries: Zaire - why not democratic republic of Congo. Where is South Sudan? Why is Northern Ireland present in the 1700s? It didnt exist until the 1920s. Israel was independent in 1947/48 - before that it was called Palestine. Napoleon took over most of Europe in the very early 1800s - why is that not noted? Educational apps need to be accurate otherwise there is no point.
Incorrect information not worth to but. Whoever develop this up is Moran probably from US and he not nothing about history except invite others country us brain wash idiot
Great idea and great potential, but I agree with other reviews in that it needs more research. One example, it shows Mexico still being Spain after 1821 and until 1880. And it was not Spain but the New Spain as it was called
1920-1937 The name-of-a-country notation and a color of Japan are wrong.
Not much here that you cant get on the Internet. Difficult to click on links. Basic at best.
Really like the new UI, and appreciate that you incorporated our feedback and added a tutorial. Please continue to innovate!
