World History Atlas HD with 3D App Reviews

Interesting but not helpful in terms of historical accuracy. I wish I can get a refund but dont know how. First time iStore user.

This is the type of app Ive been looking for. Great history reference. I give four out of five stars because it is a work in progress. Its an ambitious project and Im happy to have it.

An update to content errors and anti-crashing would be nice

Cant make the app do anything useful with time, location or events... So what does it do? A few things are included as placeholders but overall the app doesnt do much of anything and there isnt a tutorial to help figure out how its supposed to function... Look up 1066 and theres nothing? Kind of misses the point! As with other comments, if I could get a refund, Id ask for one. Look for a better app! B

OUTSTANDING concept, information and maps!!! Beautiful graphics and images!!! Your updates will be welcome as there is room for improvement and a few bugs, but overall this app is excellent, and I am learning a ton!!!

Taiwan is a province of China and excuse me I am just wondering do u have common knowledge? BTW, where the hell does Manchuria come from? Had it ever been acknowledged by the public? Ridiculous! Unforgivable technical flaws!

I think this app is very helpful for me. I highly recommend it.

Awesome for seeing which empires existed simultaneously and in what parts of the world and how long they lasted. Empires and countries are ephemeral indeed!

Definitely not for learning history! Maybe just for fun?

Crashes a lot ! Difficult to change timeline, focuses on trivia for the most part. Great idea, poor execution.

App deleted soon after download, incomplete datas. Everything is great except for one thing: Europe is not the World. I was hoping to finally find an Atlas that included all science and history of the world, but Im sadly disappointed regarding the focus of your product only to the European history and a bit of Asian history. If you outsourcing your datas and infos from Wikipedia, why not do that task in its complete form, at least to truly embrace the name and meaning of "World History Atlas"? The world history didnt start in Europe or at Jesus Christs birth. Do I have to remind you that?

At the very least, its extremely limited in scope. That said, Its a cool idea if theyd put some more work/detail into it. They should probably buy some history books written after 1950 as well.

This app looks pretty and is potentially very effective in learning about world history, but as many other reviewers are saying, there is too much inaccuracy in the data itself, not the program. For example, in 1931, the entire country of Japan is labeled Republic of Korea as well as the Korean peninsula. That is craziness.

The only listed event in North America from 1800 AD to the present is that Barack Obama was elected president. The ridiculousness of that speaks for itself.

It looks amazing, but if the lack of significant historical facts are any indication Im not even sure if the Maps would be accurate. For example in the United States the only historical fact indicated in the 1860s is that Obama was elected in 2008. What does that even mean? Deleted the app.

Frequent crashes steal any utility from this buggy app

This app has lots and lots of potential (Which is why I gave it three stars), but come on! The only thing significant thats happened in the US in the past 100 years is the election of Obama? Thats just plain insulting! Either take Obama out or update the US history, or both!

It was good but not completed

I think people are confused by the pop up event notices being the only history. That seems more trivia based. This app is much more than pop up trivia. Just an FYI learn an app before attacking it. The value in this app is in how empire have risen and fallen over time. Click on any empire and brings up associated Wikipedia data about that kingdom.
